Preorders to Open for the 2019 BMW X7

December 14, 2018
2019 BMW X7 | BMW Rival | Braman BMW of West Palm Beach, Florida

The BMW X series has been wildly successful. These Sport Activity Vehicles are crossovers and SUVs that don’t sacrifice cargo or passenger room for performance. It took a while longer for BMW to enter the crossover and SUV market than some others, but the result proved that they simply determined to enter it only when they’d honed the engineering to perfection.

BMW delivers some of the best vehicles in the segment. Drivers have been waiting to see just who will rise up as a BMW rival. This time, it looks like BMW is beating everyone else to the punch with the 2019 BMW X7.

The Largest X

This new beast will take over for the X5 as the largest in the BMW X series. The X5 came with a third row of seating optional; the X7 will come with it standard, easily seating seven. At the same time, it manages 48.6 cubic feet of cargo space. Fold the rear benches, and you expand that to a massive 90.4 cubic feet.

Safety, Comfort

Safety is also a focus, with a level of driver assistance technology that’s rarely seen standard. Beyond this, the looks are superb both inside and out. The interior aesthetic is remarkable, with electroplated accents. It goes beyond look alone, however. Comfort is foremost, including four-zone climate control standard.

Built for Real-Life…

The exterior look is shockingly streamlined for such a large vehicle; it looks incredibly svelte. BMW’s design game is at its peak here. The 2019 BMW X7 smartly avoids the cardinal sins of so many BMW rivals: the greenhouse isn’t cropped off anywhere but allows a wide and comfortable view of the road. Nobody has to scrunch their head to fit. It’s exceedingly comfortable.

…And for Fantasy

It’s been a focus of BMW to ensure that their SUVs still perform like BMWs. Even a large SUV like the X7 comes with two engine options: a 4.4-liter V8 and a 3.0-liter inline six. The more powerful delivers 456 horsepower, while the latter delivers 335-horsepower. They give you a 0 to 60 mph time of 5.2 and 5.8 seconds, respectively. Coming with xDrive standard and BMW’s smooth-as-silk eight-speed automatic transmission, the 2019 BMW X7 should embarrass any BMW rival out there.
