A Year of Club Braman Events

Audi A3 Debut Party

Club Braman activities kicked off in early April several events, including the debut of the new Audi A3 at a party held in a giant two-story warehouse in the heart of downtown West Palm Beach that was decorated like a Miami Beach club, complete with smoke, lasers, music and waiters circulating with food and drinks.  Nearly 400 people attended, and one lucky party-goer won a two-year lease on a brand-new A3.

Club Braman Performance Driving Event

Two weeks later, we held the first of four Club Braman Performance Driving Events in conjunction with the Palm Beach Driving Club at the nearby Palm Beach International Raceway.  Club members were invited to bring their own cars to the track and receive personal instruction from top racing drivers.  Dozens of drivers participated, and finished the day off with a gourmet lunch in the air-conditioned VIP suite in the paddock.  The Braman Performance Driving Program will be expanded in 2015.

Bloody MINI Event!

A week after that, the ‘Bloody Mini Event!’ at Braman MINI saw the debut of the all-new 2014 MINI Cooper.  The event featured food trucks serving such British fare as Fish & Chips, Bangers & Mash – along with High-Tea at 3pm.  Comedy relief was provided by a professional Austin Powers impersonator and professional cartoonist and one lucky attendee won a one-year lease on a new MINI.

Audi Quattro Cup

May started out with two lucky — and talented — Braman customers participating in the Audi Quattro Cup golf tournament.  The duo won the local competition and moved on – all expenses paid — to compete at the world finals at the Trump National Golf Club in Palos Verdes, California.  The Audi Quattro Cup is an annual event, and Club Braman members will again have the opportunity to participate in 2015.

Roar ‘n Pour – May

In May we had the introduction of the new Porsche Macan compact SUV at the Palm Beach Zoo, complete with smoke, lights and music.  More than a hundred invited guests sipped champagne and applauded as the new cubs (the 340 hp Macan S and 400 hp Macan Turbo) growled their way into the spotlight.  The success of this event led to Braman becoming the title sponsor of the new Tiger habitat for the zoo, which is due to open in March of 2015.  Club Braman will hold monthly Roar ‘n Pour events at the Zoo during the summer.

Furry Friends Party Event

May wound up with Braman BMW of Jupiter hosting a fabulous party with Hors d’oeuvres and an open bar for Club Braman members, as well as volunteers and supporters of Furry Friends Adoption and Clinic of Jupiter. Silent Auction prizes included a Night on the Town with a Braman Chauffeur transporting the winner to a dinner for two and complimentary bottle of wine at Ironwood Steak & Seafood Restaurant, a One Week Vacation stay in Black Mountain N.C. and a private wine party for 10 from PRP Wine International.

BMW Un4gettable Event

In June, also at Braman BMW Jupiter, Club Braman members were invited a unique experience – the chance to test drive the all-new BMW 4 Series, as well as competitive vehicles from Lexus, Audi, Mercedes and Cadillac.  Talk about a company that has confidence in its product!

BMW i3 Debut Party

Next up in June was the debut of the all-new, high-tech BMW i3 electric urban commuter vehicle, a two-day event held at the all-glass Lake Pavilion on the West Palm Beach waterfront.  Events included i3 test-drives around the downtown streets and a future-themed launch party with live music, Star Wars characters and complimentary food and drink.

Feast of the Sea | Performance Driving

July and August saw additional Club Braman Performance Driving Events at Palm Beach International Raceway, while early September saw a brand-new Club Braman event, the annual “Feast of the Sea,” a gala party of great seafood, delicious drinks, fine art, and an engaging variety  on Flagler Drive at the West Palm Beach waterfront.  Club Braman members were invited behind the velvet ropes for luxury seating in a VIP suite featuring four different Celebrity Culinary Demonstrations.

Simon Fashion Now

Also in September was one of the most prestigious fashions shows of the season, the Simon Fashion Now show at the Boca Town Center Mall, an event sponsored by Braman Bentley and Braman Rolls-Royce.  Delights included appetizers provided by various restaurants Boca and at the mall, beverages provided by Blue Martini, and clothing from various upscale fashion stores in the Town Center Mall.

Roar ‘n Pour – October

October saw the first Club Braman Roar ‘n Pour event at the Palm Beach Zoo, “Across the Universe,” featuring South Florida’s top Beatles tribute band.  Several hundred Club Braman members and their families enjoyed a party that ran from 5:30 – 9:30 pm and included both live music and up-close animal encounters and Zookeeper talks.

MINI Motor-tober

Later that same month, we held the Braman MINI’s annual Motor-tober event at Palm Beach International Raceway.  A hundred and fifty Club Braman members and invited customers had the opportunity to compare the go-kart handling of a MINI with an actual go-kart on the PBIR kart track, and see just how agile the new MINI is while threading their way through a specially-designed slalom course.  The event ran from 11am to 4pm, with a mid-day break for a delicious lunch of London broil, ribs and corn of the cob served in the air-conditioned VIP suite.

2015 Porsche Cayenne Debut | Rolls-Royce Racing

November included a debut party at Braman Porsche for the all-new 2015 Cayenne SUV, with food, music and test drives.  Also in November was a remarkable event in which members were invited to test drive all three Rolls-Royce models back-to back at Palm Beach International Raceway.  Invited drivers got to ‘race’ the Wraith and Ghost on the road course, and put the cars through their paces in a 1/4-mile drag race.  Phantom test drives took place in the countryside near the track.  Wrapping up the day was a gourmet lunch of Beef Wellington and gift bags full of exclusive goodies.

Art After Dark

The final Club Braman event of the 2014 season was “Art After Dark” at the Norton Museum.  Of the various ‘date night’ scenarios available in West Palm Beach, it’s hard to imagine one that is more entertaining — and illuminating — than spending an evening at a hip museum with fancy cars, fantastic art exhibits, live music, artists demonstrating how they create their artworks and a top-notch restaurant serving gourmet food.  Oh, and let’s not forget the free hot chocolate to shake off the chill of a cool winter evening.  Braman Motorcars vehicles on display at the front entrance made up their own automotive art show, including a BMW i8 electric sports car, Audi R8, Rolls-Royce Wraith and an “art MINI’ created by noted painter Romero Britto.
